Polywater® LZ offers proven cable compatibility, superior combustion resistance, and an inherently low coefficient of friction. Polywater® LZ should be specified for installations of LSZH/LSHF cable in duct and where fire propagation is a concern. This is our most versatile lubricant that can be used on all types of cable jackets.
Because of ongoing production and formulation advances in LSZH cable technology, please verify with cable manufacturers the current status of lubricant compatibility, or contact American Polywater directly for specific jacket details.
Product/Package Notes:
Polywater® LZ comes in two grades: Regular Grade LZ and Winter Grade WLZ (for cold weather use in temperatures as low as -20°F/-30°C).
Polywater® LZ can also be pumped using the LP-D5 Drill-Powered Pump (see sidebar).
